Ordering

How to order

Orders should be sent by post, with payment by sterling cheque payable to “Signalling Record Society” and drawn on a UK bank, to:

SRS Book Sales
1 Saint David’s Close
Leverstock Green
HEMEL HEMPSTEAD
Herts. HP3 8LU
United Kingdom

Except at times of absence due to holidays or business, orders will normally be despatched within seven days.

Discounts for members

SRS members are entitled to a £1 discount on each book purchased. This offer is NOT retrospective, and replaces the discounted price offered in the past for the first couple of months a new book was available; please don’t claim both! To claim your discount, please state your membership number, so that the details can be checked.

UK postage and packing

Orders for delivery to addresses in the United Kingdom will be dispatched by second class post. The charge for postage and packing is as shown in the descriptions of individual books or series on other pages. These charges have been reviewed, and will not be affected by the changes in postal rates due in August 2006.

Overseas postage and packing

Orders for delivery to addresses outside the United Kingdom will be dispatched by air mail at the Small Packet rate. The charge for postage and packing to addresses in Europe is double the UK p&p amount shown for each book; the charge for addresses outside Europe is three times the UK p&p amount shown per book. For example, a Swift book to Europe costs £2; a Wagstaff book to Australia costs £4.50.

Other ways to buy

A selection of SRS books will normally be available at any SRS meeting, and at the annual Warley show at the NEC. In addition, some of the better railway bookshops stock SRS books, notably Bill Hudson, Ian Allan Bookshop (Birmingham and London) and Midland Counties Publications; if the one you use does not, please ask them to contact us.
